god thats so nice. im going to try and 3 link my truck next winter. all the brackets i need (ballistic) to do it only came to $225. the expensive part is the coilovers. i need limit straps so bad cause with the leafs the pinion dives to the ground at full droop.

since it stopped raining I got to get my battery out of the samurai and pull the taco out of the shop, looks fully bad ass but I cant drive it more till I get the shocks charged. Besides that I just cleaned the shop and worked on the salmon and the samurai

ya its always weird driving my truck again after it sits for a few months. im all sketched out. the suspension is really soft. i need a sway bar for the road. thad be cool if you tagged along. callen should have his junk ready so it'd be your virgin runs. we could crash at fernandos cabin to.

the kid I did that

for got some bad diabetis randomly and has been laying really low. He was trying to sell it but people werent biting at the prices he was asking even though he would already take a serious hit on it. I think its just parked now in storage or something. once it was jetted right and timed it hauled ass. I cruised it for a couple days before giving it back

That thng is beat down hah. Cruise up Friday and well hit the snow on sat, can either stay a fernandos cabin or rock back and hit up 80s night for sure. I'm gong to bit it hard tonight and try and finish everything enough to hit the snow. Only thing that's really hldong me up is exhaust. Would be sick for sure to go wheeling again.

totally thought I was gonna drive this thing yesterday and then some wool showed up I thought just to kick it and I ended up swapping out the rearend in her 85 runner.

went pretty smooth but it was still pretty lame, at least she had some nice asscrack showing while she wirewheeled her new axle !!

stretched it out a bit yesterday to check

out, did alright. also went through the whole driverside of the front axle to fix a blown trunion bearing and blown inner axle seal. after that I aligned it and got it almost ready to drive. did a few test drives up and down the road yesterday but the steering was pretty sketchy and wouldnt return to center because I dont have the caster dialed in yet

thanks guys, im pretty happy with it besides the fact that it drives really quirky and darty. spent a bunch of time yesterday messing with caster and such and got it quite a bit better but I dont think it is ready for traffic yet

got it pretty dial in on friday night and then cruised it up here to chico saturday morning. drives preety nice now after a little time behind the wheel. cruised it around in some deep snow all day yesterday, didnt do anything too crazy since im tired of working on it and was super hungover but it works very well besides a couple small issues. steering box just blew up on the way back to town here so rokyot is hooking me up (thanks alot bro) with another messed up box and im gonna make one good one out of two I guess before my 130 mile drive home

NO prob man. I have it all here waiting for Kiyul to come pick it. I just ordered tender springs from Poly performance. hopfully that will take care of the problem, it should. Im glad we both saw the problem before one of us F'd up a new coil-over!

ya the pumps leaking everywhere pretty good. we took off the pitman arm and thats as far as we got.

so after all this dicking around playing with the box and lines and replacing the pump the steering wasnt any better so I unbolted one end of my TRAIL QUEER steering ram to take it for a drive like that and see what the deal was and right when I fired it up it blew the end of the ram out and leaked the entire half gallon of fresh atf everywhere. in the 5 minutes of running the new pump it had already started leaking also. so we undid the hydro lines on the box and welded the fittings closed and started my journey home with just standard power steering. well we didnt make it anywhere before the alternator decided it didnt like its ATF bath it had been recieving lately and the charge light popped on so I turned off all electronics and managed to make it seventy something miles before the optima decided it was done running the motor and left me stranded 70 miles from home. oh well good thing rockwalker got AAA on friday, im not touching the truck for a couple weeks im 100% over it and tempted to sell it but im not one to take that kind of financial loss
