Damn. I just got done reading your entire build up. Bad ass Taco man. Really nice work. Looks like a fun reliable rig.

Just one question, do you live in Sonora, or Roseville? I couldnt remember where you said you are located. I thought I had seen a few of the trucks pictured in this thread around roseville, i go down there for school and work a lot.

Oh okay, you live in Roseville then right? I remember because you came up to greenhorn once and i was going to out with you but then i ended up having to work and i didnt go. You guys have some bad ass trucks I would love to hook up some time and wheel. I gotta get my rear locker so I can get out and hit the trails besides Greenhorn...haha. its nice to have it in my backyard but ive been wheeling there since i was like 14 its getting kind of old  :shake:

Ya, i lived in Roseville but just recently moved to Sac/north highlands.  still not too far away.  we should be going to the Con the 6th-8th of july if i can get my truck back together before then.

kyle has pictures.

i finally got to run the box after breaking every time ive been to the rubicon for the past year.  kyle and i wheeled from loon, did soup bowl on the way through to the box, bypassed it, unloaded all our gear and then i went straight back to the box and promptly went though, kyle has video of my first run through the box, then the next morning i went through again, but got kinda off course in the beginning and it took a little longer.

all in all it was a blast, one of the better rubicon runs for me.  on saturday i let kyle drive my truck and in 300yds the front driveline let loose, but i was able to battery weld it back together using 3 batterys some jumper cables and about 6-7 pairs of stunner shades that i collected from everyone.

anyone up for fordyce in about a month??

Glad to see that Kevins rig is going back together, that thing was fucked over after memorial day. Sad news tho, I'm selling my rig. Bought a 73 Camaro and dont have the funds to share with the truck so I am out for a while. I'll build another rig when I get the job I am going for right now. This time it will be a runner tho. Somebody buy my truck! Poor Camaro needs some sweet sweet love

yep another good run, no breakage whats so ever. ran the whole trail including a seperate solo rockrace from buck island to the springs and back on a mission to find a tire for my friend before it got dark. Truck is starting to sag hard, both rear springs are seriously tweaked but it looks sweet since the truck now sits 25" to the frame with the 40s at 30psi.

David you better not sell your truck man.  you never even ran it with the front locker and besides which you should at least get a 69 or older if you gonna build a camaro.

Ramrod

thanks guys.  I got my old campershell back finally but now i dont know if I even want it anymore.  I'll take some pics and see what you guys think.  tomorrow i'll probably order up most of my link parts for the rear.  I'm gonna run a wishbone 3 link with jeep coils and probably a rock equipment sway bar if I need it.  I'm gonna run all ballistic fab brackets and the new 3" joints all around except on the top of the upper im gonna run greasable poly joints for a little cussion and saved money.  cant wait to have it done so I can stop dragging my ass end all around on everything with these gay ass shackles but im going up to the rubicon this weekend anyways.

Ramrod

here is what my new exhaust I got built sounds like.  Its quite cruising around but gets extremely lound when I get on it and sounds like a street bike kinda, I like it cuz nobody else's sounds anything like it. 2.25" all the way with no cat and a hooker maximum flow muffler
