but when we meet up with marlin and the gang. we managed to get out of the fog(diesel smoke) and lead the way to ice houseroad and up to the ranger station
aahhh fresh air . and bought our fire permits and where the girl that helped us one after another was a great sport about the constant picture snapping and barely even  :disturbed: cringed at the thought of her face being plastered across the internet. but really she was a good sport and a great assistance in getting us all taken care of and giving us lots of spill kits.(I still have the inventory sheet from them and am going to make up some of my own) and then it was off to the trailhead at LOON LAKE where we would meet up with blingn and snowshoebrue

FFC will always have alittle part of me with her. I never did find that tooth I broke. :rotfl:

once we reached the trailhead we found out blingn as he was pulling into the trailhead ran out of gas but that would now be a problem to deal with on the way out.  after gathering up , airing down , loading up , we headed down to the staging area and then up the slab and on to the trail, and then the first break (the MIGO's  frt slip came apart )

there that's better.

when we last saw our hero's the evil Dr bad luck had attacked with his henchmen short slip and big hop and had them trapped on the trail with no frt drive shaft. and just when they thought they would be killed by the mob of angry wheelers trapped behind them .

dunt DA DA duh

it's WELDERMAN who's welds are stronger than any punishment a 20 year old girl can dish-out ,faster than the growwing anger of any crowd, able to smash boulders and keep going , but disguised as mild mannered (yeah right) 4wheeler WILLYMAMMOTH aka mark's offroad recovery and repair he wheels among us. never reveling his true indentity.

:rofl2: I crack myself up sometimes . but really WM truly was a super hero this trip this was just the first of I just  :dunno: could not keep track of how many repairs he made . several 4wheelers would have had a much different trip if not for him and his trusty steed (well! the welder, winch, and tools mounted to it) let's all give him a big hand
:clap2:  :ladys-man:    :yesnod: :clap2: :smooch: :usa: OK enough  :moon: kissing don't want to give him a big head too.

:respect:

we knew from the get go that we would be fixing this eventually we just thought maybe we would make it a little farther. but it actually picked a very good spot to go at a wide area where we could all pull off the trail and let the afore mentioned angry mobs go by which were really not angry and not mobs and didn't want to kill us. but what fun would the story be if there was no danger.

so while WM and FFC where repairing that everyone else just sat around on a big rock in the shade (pic didn't come out the shutter jammed) . accept the occational hand as needed but we where treated to an aerial show. the helo transporting FIREBALL's (who by the way walked all the way in) sound equiptment. from the slab to the springs.

I think you can get a cable to connect your cel phone to your computer and it would be like dialup, but you would need to make sure it don't count against your air time. That may be cheaper, but if you don't mind the extra cost the card would be the ticket.

OK after all repairs where completed we moved on to the slabs or the steps I'm not sure what you call it but it. but it was here that was the first time I taught I might see the rubicon from a different angle . and where my shutter started ruining my shot like the one of snowshoebrue. and the one of myself and FFC allmost vertical as she tried to go up a step and then falling back down From inside the truck it felt like the front tires for at least a short time where not connected to the ground and I know all I could see was sky. and I still to this day think she stood it on the spare for a slip second.

these are the down hill pics going up My hands where full of things other than camera

I also took pics of WM winching us up the step that we got stuck on. and they looked real cool as I took them looking thru the view finder with my screen turned off to save batteries but when I reviewed them they were all pics of the back of my dust shutter because it got stuck because of all the dust  :headscratch: that just don't make sense.

but heres a pic of everyone once we made it to the top and mini just before the slabs (or whatever they were)
anyone know the name ? so I can stop looking like a dummie  :talkingn: oh!! nevermind thats the point.

:dunno: I just noticed where is ruger and snowshoebrue?

not to mention this lovely photograph of blingn getting both the rear axle hung on a rock and the front wedged against another. ever wonder why he has no front bumper.? but snowshoe was kind enough to pull him off and the next is mini  and then snowshoe crossing the logg bridge. this guy was not with us but he was the only person to make it pass this out of about 3 or 4 you tried.
