$500, a little steep arent they?
ive done the 22re and 22rte swap on 6 carbed toys, and it is easy, i just swap all of the harness over, never cut it and try to use your incab 22r harness, that just makes it a nightmare

Project looks really good.  You aren't the only one that hates wiring.

It's been killing me for over a week now. today I got all the relays, a new fuse panel and electrical disconnect in. Tomorrow after work I'm hoping to have the lights wired.

NOTHING about wiring comes natural to me!

wiring doesnt scare me at all, its the fun part of my projects, took a 22re pickup harness and put it into my 90 4runner and even wired up the power windows, locks, and mirrors, and tailgate window lock and wiper motor with washer, now that was a nightmare

Good choice on the harness Pat.  I wish I could afford something like that for mine, that or propane!!  Wiring is the worst thing about a rig build.
I don't need a winch, I wheel a TOYOTA!!!!!!!

Problem is all the parts are a mismatch. The frame is from an 83. The tranny and one t-case is from an 85. The second t-case is from a 79 or 80. Front axle form an 85, rear axle from a 93, and a motor from a 94. I have the complete engine harness from a 94, but no chassis harness at all. I got a good schematic last week for the 94 engine harness but due to work I don't have time to figure it all out. I just hit 7 months on this build so right now, I just want to wheel. I talked to the guy's at ORS on the phone the other day. From what they say this should be "plug and play". And like I say, right now I just want to wheel.

Believe me, I completely admire your skills. But like I say. I have no electrical skills at all.

Wiring is always a fun thing. I try to avoid it as much as possible, but it happens sometimes!

Aluminum. One of the local shops, Crossed Up Offroad got it for me. It's pretty thin, about .04 thick. I'm not sure what gage that is in alum. The stock is red on one side and white on the other. The red will be facing out.
