Hello, all. I'm new to the forum and to Toyota in general. I'm a Jeep guy through and through, but can no longer truly afford to build Jeeps since I got out of the Army. I sold my last CJ and trailer a couple months ago, and I'm dieing to get something else. Anyhow, I got contacted by one of my old Army/wheelin' buddies that this kid was getting kicked out of the Army and has a 85 Toyota standard cab truck he wants to unload. Now I remember the truck from when I was still in the Army, so I asked a few questions and then jumped on it. Here's what I got: 22r (rebuilt @45k ago), 5 speed, unknown on anything done to the tcase, Tom Woods shafts, 5.29's with Detroits, Marfields (?, don't know much about these yet), All Pro lift (unknown size), exo w/ caged rear (no bed), 35" BFG's and some other stuff. The kid doesn't care about it any more, and doesn't want to ship it back to Cali, so he sold it to me for $1000. The bad thing is that it's in Kansas and I'm in Ohio, so I have to get it home. Another bad thing is that it's having some engine/spark issues, but they're being worked on. Now, I have a couple of questions, but I'll put them in the truck forum. Well, just thought I'd say hi.
