Only someone in a 4x2 would think that.

too bad that petiition is over 5 years old... i guess toyota really listens

peter parks over on pirate "trd4me" said it the best.... and was exactly what i said, i guess its time to flame him as well

I sat at the campfire with the Toyota reps and Marlin last week on the con during the TTORA con run. We specifically talked about a SFA, but the facts are its about the numbers. We all want a SFA, but we are a very small majority and only a fraction of the people that vote here would even buy a new vehicle if it came out. Its about the numbers, and unfortunatly we dont have them.

I'll still vote, we can still wish!

if you want to start a useful petition, try to get Toyota to take a fiberglass cap, put it on a standard cab Tacoma, and stick a seat and some carpet back there. they could give it a different name to differentiate it from the Tacoma, like, oh, I don't know.... "4runner" or something clever like that.

if they already had a vehicle by that name, they'd have to change it to something else like, um... "Camry Wagon"  and put AWD stickers on it.
