Dash look good man . Did your stock speedo cable work ok for your autometer speedometer? How did you get the speedometer cable to stay on the threads? i was going to use a hose clamp  :dunno: o and toys have a triangular cable end and the auto has a square  :headscratch: I bought autometer pro-comp gauges but did not put them in yet, need to figure out what to do with the speedo.

"toys have a triangular cable end" Never mind its been some time since i have looked at the cable end, just looked at it and its square  :hammer:  :_oops:

Nice looking project.  What kind of bling besides the 30 splines do you have in the drivetrain?

I have a question about the seats do you feel that you have enough room in the cab with the prp's seats. I am 6' at 210 and I am a little worried about space in the cab with a new set of the DD seats from prp. also what did you do for mounting the seats did they fit in the stock location or did you fab some mounting hardware. And by the way i read the buildup so far and its just kick ass from the get go man. I went out and ripped the old dash from my first gen after i saw your idea.

rocktoy83

The seats fit good for me  8)  , but i am 5'7 there is still a bit of room.I fabbed up sum stuff so i can use the stock bracits, i jut mad them a bit longer by using sum angel iron.I will see if i can get sum pics up for you

sgt.majorcrash

Are the seats in a permanent location or are they on an adjustable slide.

How did the autometer gauges hook up to the toyota senders.. like water temp and oil pressure. What ohm range is the fuel level gauge?
Im going to be doing this on my 82 but it will be with a 22r not the r/e so Im sure there will be some difference.

I have not got to the wiring of the gauges yet, but the water temp and oil pressure cum with there own senders so i think they shooed work fine  The fuel level gauge i think is going to be the hardies to get to work, cus of the the ohm :smack: I will let you no how it works out win i get it all dun

Thanks, Ill stay posted. I might use a fuel cell so that would simplify the fuel level gauge a lot for me.
