Damn I'd need at least one carrier bearing in the front driveline...  :gap:
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

GNasty 82

I think at this point it would be best to ditch the standard shifter handles and build an electro-mechanical shifter system with a bunch of switches on the dash.  You could take it a step further and just put a dial on the dash and just dial in the gear ratio you wanted, and with a little bit of circuitry, it would automatically shift the correct boxes to achieve the desired ratio.

OK, so this solves the one man shifting problem, who has the solution to the mounting problem?

BTW, I don't think a 22R/E has enough torque to actually turn all those gears  :rofl2:

see I have always wondered why these people running there uber lifted and stretched trucks dont use a divorced case mounted in the middle of the chassis and lowered a bit, NOW I KNOW WHY, they are just saving up money to build one of these :bling:
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

Here is what this would be if they were all 4.70:1 boxes:

109,908,516.76:1 That is a 109.9 million to one Crawl Ratio. :ack:

Yup, just in case you needed the torque and pulling power to pull a fully loaded oil tanker out of the water with a 22R/E.    :rofl2:

:funny:

Peak torque output of a 22R-E is 137 ft-lbs, so that would be 15 trillion pound-feet of torque at the end of the axle shaft, which of course would never happen

I can't even fathom the reality of this. The numbers aren't even a decent way to measure this setup. You could let this idle in gear and still grow vines up the side of the vehicle. That's like a warp crawl...

How long would it take to take up the slack in the gears?

honestly thats a good question. even in high range, how much slack would there be?
if you ran a 250 weight oil in all of the cases in low range, how much power would it take to spin it, how bout in high range?
