A little update, since my last post, I've been busy collecting parts, and working on the Jeep whenever I get a chance.  I picked up a 400 SBC engine and rebuilt SM420, so now I need to sell the Buick 3.8 & 3 speed tranny I'm taking out.  Here are a few pics to check out:

This next weekend I'm working on getting the back done, yanking the drivetrain, hopefully bolting the wheels and tires on to get an idea how this thing will look!  :beerchug:

why does this build seem vaguely familiar? It's like deja vu all over again

Glad to see you are putting the shackles on the back. I want to move mine to the back, but I think we are going 4 link after MCR5.

This thing is going to be TALL. Hope it fits in your garage, Ours still scrapes the header beam.

Why is it all these things have the front frame butchered?

Cuz they're weak, mine broke several times just in front of the shocks.

I think you're right, this thing is going to be alot bigger than I originally planned, I'm hoping the added wheelbase will keep it somewhat stable.

Man, it takes me two weeks to do a set of half doors, you just extend a wheelbase, new shoes, putting in a new motor, and do both front an rear suspension.  :headshake:  man, I feel like a slacker

Build looks good, keep it up!!

Another change of plan, I'm keeping the V6 and tranny thats in it, found another use for the SBC, but that's another story.  This Jeep will also be for sale shortly!   :beerchug:
