:smack:  OH I almost forgot.. The pocket on the inside for a whisky flask or beer bottle.  :yesnod:

Got to have a little something to warm the bones after a cold (fun) day at flat nasty in the rain.
 :disturbed:

That is a great idea, V-man! It would have to be really detailed, just some basic colors. A turtle quilt. I'm sure we could come up with a basic design if Mom's interested.

what about 'recycled'  bluejeans ??  for the  blanket  material,  then  she can use a Marlin sticker  as a silk screen pattern  for  sew on  patches  :dunno:

my aunt used to make these really cool things...she called them sport tarps...

My parents always had one in the trunk of the car. It was basically a heavy duty canvas "blanket". She would paint different designs on them with paint with stencils. They actually looked pretty cool! Great for picnics, camping, beach, boating, whatever really.

I was think a good heavy material that would not wear out too fast or tear too easy.  Jeans were origailly made for miners in the CAL. gold rush because pants of the time could not take the wear and tear of day to  day use.  I mean you will not likly be snuggling down in it for the time....ok maybe some will but at least they are going to be wearing clothes..

I hope to god they will be wearing clothes when they pass-out.

but anyways the inside could be a softer material but still not a fine silk like linen right?

Hi there ...this is Evil sister... this is great but if you are going to use Marlins turtle then we have to have permission, I imagine he had to pay for patten or license or something like a copyrite. I mean we could do the stencil thing maybe, but if it copies the Marlin then permission is required.

I really appreciate that ya care so much I don't know what we would do without such good friends  :smooch:

maybe we could call it "Downhome Hobbies"  :I dunno:

keep the ideas coming and we can see what can be done...thanks...

Have Glen talk to Marlin about the turtle blanket idea.

Was just thinking of a blanket with a turtle, but if it's going to be a "MARLIN TURTLE"

  That's even better.

or maybe they can do a take on the marlin turtle, like the way they did the MCR5 tshirts. Something similar but not the same.
