As far as the install goes... follow the TRD instructions. The pre 99 engines had more "ping issues". You might also do the FMU mod, cooler thermostat, VB upgrade (for auto trans) plus tranny cooler, Denso Iridium spark plugs... that would get you started. My 99 runs perfect with the SCr.
6.5 - 7 PSI on the stock pulley. You might have to drop to the 5 psi pulley if you have ping problems. Anything over the stock pulley should not be done w/o upgrading the fuel system.
