OK,

So maybe nobody has a motor, but what do ya'll think the best swap would be.  I already have a w-56 tranny & dual cases. For reliability purposes, I would like to stay w/ a Toyota motor. Other than the 22r/re what motor/ years will bolt up, our would be easy to swap in. Let me know what ya'll think - Ryan

Stick with the 22R/E Just be half way patient and one will come along. Unless you wanted to do a late model 2.7 conversion, those are cool.

Those are perty slick...But can the 2.7 bolt up to my current w-56? if so this might be an option

I second that, I really want your 3.8 but could never afford it, looks good though,  Nate

i forgot to add....all the turbo stuff as well....
a well over 300 horse engine thta is reliable..yes not that good of a craweler truck, but when comparing the torque of a 22re, with a 3.8 there is no comparison...and then for top spead you get a nice bamount of consirvative boost... :)

just my two cents...but hey it was worth a shot.. :)

I've got a 22re EFI motor in So. Cal that I'm looking to get rid of. Runs great, has LC metal timing guides, chain, and gear. Let me know if you're interested.

Its real simple The motor had  Fuel Injection, I used the fuel injection and I have the carb assembly off of the motor that I am using.

I converted the carbed motor to Fuel injection.  Thats why I said I have a 22re motor and a carb assembly because the carb assembly will bolt on and function on the 22re motor without problems.

:driving: will custom build you an engine. or if you want it built to stock specs it will probably be about 1500
P.S. will cost more if you do not have a good core. Will take about two to three weeks to build located in Oklahoma
