Buchanan's Mudfest '06 (spring)

Well after nearly a week of rain here it was time again for Buchanan's. I have now officially seen EVERY type of vehicle go through mud. Even many that I never knew existed.  Sorry for the shabby pics.  The battery ran out on my camera like 5 minutes after I got there. All the cool rigs showed up later, of course    I promise I'll get some better ones if anyone even cares.

You guys are lucky and ya dont even know it. We dont have that ammount of people in the whole UK interested in doing things like that, let alone get them together one afternoon and have a laugh. Its not much fun running in a mud hole by yourself. Theres no one around to laugh at ya when ya get stuck. Next time I get to go to America I wanna stay, hide up in the swamp so the revenuers cant find me, set ma still shine a cookin, build me a mud truck and blend in wit the other critters............and avoid the man

Well to hold ya'll over til I gets some better pics (nudge nudge MWM), here's a couple pics from last year......   Last year was WAY better! Imagine Jerry Springer crossed with Mardi Gras and 100 acres of mud.  Girls flashing boobs, mud wrestling, trucks catching on fire. All kinds of crazy stuff. I didn't get any pics of that though. I was...ummm...busy    It was really quite comical, everyone running around. They ask me if I have a fire extinguisher and I'm like, "sorry".  Anyways, on with some pics>>

This was some truck-killing mud. I've never seen it that thick out there. Crap, my truck's radiator was packed with mud and I tried to make it home.  I started heatin' bad and had to pull over at a carwash. The owner told us we couldnt use it and we told him to f-off we needed it and we're paying customers dammit!  anyways, long story short, I flooded my distributor with the power-washer and barely made it home. I think I was running on like 2 or 3 cylinders
