Never under estmate what a turbo can do if it is setup properly.

Here are some of my early days racing my 76 Datsun 280Z 2.8L six running 25 psi.

This one I am up against a 5.0 Mustang, see if you can here the times and the mph. Remmber this is only a 1/4 mile.

This one I am up against a 455 CI GTO, again listen to the MPH.

This guy in the RX7 kept trying to do a burn out like I just did, but I think it was all clutch slip.

This one they had just wet the track down with a traction additive and I came off at about 4500 rpm under a spooled turbo and started to lift the front end when the tailshaft in the trans swisted off.

I just got my Supra out today and took 'er for a drive.

I really missed the fun of a turbo'ed engine!  I really should drive it more often- it's a shame it just sits in the garage.

I really pissed off some spoiled rich kid in a WRX his daddy bought him.  Got his ass handed to him by my 20 year old Supra!  My blowoff valve hit when I shifted from 2nd to 3rd and he looked over at me with the wierdest look on his face.  Guess he didn't expect any cool sounds from an unassuming old Supra.

The look on his face at the next stoplight was even better  :disturbed:

Probably one of those weak EJ20 WRX's. I got to wipe the grin off this guy in a Porsche Boxter today, he thought his car was the best because of the badge on the hood.

I have no idea what WRX it was.  I was over on the rich side of town and this kid had it written in shoe polish that the car was a graduation present from his parents.  Looked to be an '02 or '03 model, but had an intake and exhaust, and gauges on the pillar.

I was just happy to surprise someone with my old junk.   :yesnod:

Yeah, the 02-03 "Bugeyes" Have the EJ20. As do the 04-05 "Blob-eyes" They 04-05 STi's, the 06 WRX, and the 06 STI have the EJ25.
