http://northwestoffroad.com/  Has a bracket that raises the torque rod to meet with stock torque rod.   http://northwestoffroad.com/parts/steering_components.html  This is what it is.  If you need a price let me know and I will dig out my catalog.

I just lengthened my torque rod, back in the push pull days. That way it was pivoting a little more closely with what the spring was doing. I moved the mount to right next to the front spring hanger. I just cut the rod in half and welded a longer tube in between.
I just took the sway bar off. I didn't really notice much differance with a mild lift.

With crossover steering taking it off is no prob, but with stock steering those hard right hand turns when you're hard braking can be a little scarey.

heres what i did,

I've done that one Glen works good that way. I used a larger diameter steering stabilizer, I think it was a Pro Comp or something like that.

Here ya go.  This uses your stock Torque Rod and it's made by Skyjacker.  The part number is TB30.

eh, thanks but i don't need it anymore...i put a shock there. fully compressed the shock is the exact length from bracket to bracket. works very good.

heres a picture of the setup, you can also see my swaybar extended end links that are easily removable.

heres the swaybar to torque-a-shock clearance.

I don't normally complain, but I have to jump on the bandwagon here and put my two cents in.  Northwest Off-Road are the biggest bunch of jackasses I've ever done business with.  They suck donkey richard in my mind.  I ordered third members from them and they screwed me around and up and down.  Had to settle things with my credit card company.  I beg you all to NEVER buy from those losers...   :maddest:

learn to drive..  i bet i could scare the ever lovin poop outta you on the road in my truck and be stable..

Methinks the bracket  is the way to go..  the shock gives to much movement for my taste..  j arm = breaky breaky   especially without a flipped ball

no  you need a torque rod and a bracket..  the shock lets the axle drop more straight down wich pulls on the arm harder.. the torque rod pulls it twoard the front as it drops   keeping more stress off the arm
