I have been through it with a conversion and am rearranging things again. gonna swap in a  r151f transmission into my 84 truck with a buick v6. I also need a transfercase for the 23 spline or an adapter to fit a 23 spline to a r150f

If you know of any one who has one let me know at toyparts@jvmin.org

Chewbacca was selling an R150 in the 'for sale' section;

http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?board=18;action=display;threadid=1316

So JV, do you know if there are any differences between the 150 and 151, besides the 151 has lower gearing?  Is it supposed to be stronger?  I have a 96 4.3ltr. lined up for mine, and I reeeeealy want to keep a stick in there and not an auto!
Good luck
Jeff

good luck Jeff you'll love the extra power I didn't have too many options when I got my kit almost 10 years ago but I know the 151f will hook up to a gear drive tcase with a 23 spline input shaft for say a crawl box. the r150 f will need an adapter for that. or a chain drive transfer case. which can not be made into a crawl box
