I wish my buddies would get some so we could use them on the trail. Everyone seems to just use cellphones now.

actually I was referring to total lack of cell service up there. MANY sierra trails have no service.

solar86yota

Good point about the no service, I live in Idaho, so there isn't service anywhere!

i put one in my truck a few weeks ago. it helps out a lot on the trail when your with a lot of trucks. pretty much everywhere i go wheelin has no cell service. it is a very nice accessory for the truck. i also put in a PA speaker so i can yell at people in front of me and make horn noises (my horn dont work)

solar86yota

I can relate to the horn not working thing! How loud are those pa speakers exactly? Are they as loud as you see 'em in the movies?

wheel'n without a CB? that's :screwy: i have responded to 3 rollovers so far, and i have requested assistance with a cb for my friend once.... but that's a whole other story. if you diddn't have one, what else you gonna do? :attention:? idk i've alwase had a cb with me when i've been wheel'n... one of the best things i did to my truck. it's also nice for bad traffic reporting and bear spotting on the way to the trail.
