Good time to change out for steel braided anyways since you need to stop bigger rubber and want a better pedal feel.

With a 5" lift on my 85', my stock front brake lines looked almost completely flexed when the truck was level. So I installed extended brake lines this last weekend. Pretty easy. Just messy. Its worth the pedal feel alone.

i've seen guys just cut the mounts off in the front so it will have more play with stock brake lines, i wouldn't try it tho.

I did that.  flush off from the top of the framerail... re-bend the hard line and weld it onto the face of the framerail.

15mins. and .50 of wire.

I need to double up the rear though
I'm going yota JUST so I can buy from Marlin more.
