4 wheel disc brakes
« on: Mar 10, 2006, 08:53:48 PM »
deciding wether i should replace my rear drums, because one seized up on me, or save some greif and do 4 wheel disk brakes. i heard from somewhere that rear disks from a eagle talon or something will bolt right up. this would be how i would go if i was going to do 4 wheel disk brakes because i dont have the money to buy a kit from all poo or marlin. so has anyone heard of this working?

Hey man first of all check the forum because I know first hand that I was a newbie to the Toy world because I have posted the same thing but I do think you could be right because the eagle talon had just slightly smaller rotors than the Chevy that is offered in the kits, but me personally I am waiting to hear how muchado's went to fork over the money and go for the rear disc's.  But , oh an love this word IRREGARDLESS I am swapping the rear disc kit in too. Try it out but do your homework on it match up sizes and what twill and won't work and ALWAYS REMEMBER if the women don't find you handsome at least they find you handy :beerchug:
Wifey rolled my 4Runner so now I get to build it the way I want.

Check out the link below! I believe that's what you're looking for.

Do the research. Between the writeup link above and my website, I cover why I prefer the conversions done with yota calipers/rotors and chevy 1 ton master.
