the best part is it runs and drives fine. just had an exhaust leak but i fixed it. heater still works too

gonna have to do quite a bit of work on the floor to get rid of the cancer so i dont end up flintstonin this thing around.

Totally cool.  I'm doing a 73 Ford Courier on a Toyota chassis (link in my sig, but I think you have to register for our site to see it).  I would have also done a Hilux, but found a good deal on the Courier first.  I'll be watching your build.

Totally forgot about this..oh well. not like the truck is making progress. :shake:

But yeah..

-Got a 20r with a weber and an offenhouser intake
-Im gathering suspension stuff right now, Going F150 rears and tacoma springs in front(52" long I think). I need one more set of creeper joints/johnny joints for a front shackle hanger..anyone think this is a bad idea? i was going to just put them in the rear but i got to thinking and remembered i had some taco rears that i could throw in front, and they are too long to use the shackle toob in the frame so im going to move the hanger back..opinons...solid or MEGA FLEX shackle mounts??? Thought maybe it might make driveability sketchy..?

Once Duals are assembled and money allows i will order the 4x Innovations Xmember.

Then the cutting begins. Pics Tommorow.

you should put some expanded steel in place of it that would be pretty cool. would suck if you got in deep water or mud though. but it would be cool to see the rocks under you.

This is what ive been up to ....

Duals with MC-R10 adapter.

What the 4runner was reduced to..

Rear Suspension: Creeper Joints w/ Tacoma Rears with Toy Rear leaf.

Hilux Booster On Left, 4runner On Right.

Before. Note the sick harbor freight rainbow sockets.

After

Flintstone it! :gap:

Battery Tray was all rusted out. Might end up having to cut the whole inner fenders out for the shock towers as a last resort. So Im waiting to patch it for now..

Cancer Delete..

Band-Aid.

Boxed In Motor Mounts.

Then Shock Tower Gussets..

And one of my other toy  :driving:

Just ordered the 4x Innovation Crossmember last week so it should be here soon. Then Duals go in and the cab can go on. :flamer: More Updates tommorow hopefully.

I definately paid way too much for those doors but I figured Im Not gonna find another pair for awhile so I snatched em up.

On to the Updates...

-Duals are in..still waiting for my 4xInnovations crossmember.
-Set the cab on the frame and started cutting. Rocker cut to right under the door, inner fenders cut. Still need to cut out the core support for the steering box, and make a new horseshoe crossmember. It hits the back of the  tranny tunnel.
-Bobbed the bed 16" inches. Its short but I like it. Still need to finish welding it up..

Today I will be the proud owner of 4, 37x12.50x17 KM2's  should be here in a week or so. Can't wait.

Still have way too much left to do, now here's the pics..

What my driveway looks like..

Might have to cut more.

Time for surgery :flamer:

Took my time triple measuring so it wouldnt look like dookie

No turning back.

Still ended up like dookie..

Set it on to see what its gonna look like.. and yes, its crooked.

Thats it for now..Body mounts next...

that thing is bad
Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:
