Is a Bald Wookie still a Wookie?

You might want to define "bottoms"  :headscratch:

yeah im tryin to decide on a sas or the chaosfab ... both seem pricey for a poor fella like me... but .....    both my front axle shafts are broke atm... pulling friends out of mud holes.....   cant decide if i would rather fix em.... an then do the sas... seems like a waste of funds... hence my dilemna.....

i love the all-pro tube bed... but lately ive had 2nd thoughts might just bob the bed......   my know-how keeps me from doing much.. an fear of messing it up... an lack of equip

bottoms= river bottoms off the arkansas river

yeah i want to run 35's eventually....  i like the way the all-pro truck looks like..... im going on looks not functionality atm.. so 35's might not be what i need/end up with.... my wheelin exp is mostly just dirt roads ....loggin roads etc... havent tried much more

Sounds like you should just get a set of nice off road tires (31-33 inch range) and save your money.  You should learn to wheel with your IFS and only upgrade when it starts to limit your adventures.  SAS isn't a mod for looks.

Cutting the bed looks great, if you mess it up then do the tube bed trick.

You could also purchase a lunchbox type locker (LockRight, Detroit EZ, Aussie) for about $250 and install it (rear differential) yourself or have a friend help out.  It would greatly increase your trucks offroad ability for minimal cost.  I recommend an Aussie locker, but they are all very similar.
