I would suggest purchasing new...try Randy's Ring and Pinion, I have seen spools on their website.  If you are looking to pick one up cheap, you might consider the Lincoln option.  Why not an Aussie?
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

Why Randy's? I got THEE WORST customer service when I made the mistake of using them for my GMC project. If you are going to buy new go thru Marlin.

I have never had any dealings with Randy's, so I don't have an opinion on their service; I just know that I have seen both spools and mini spools on their website.

If Marlin  :turtle:  sells the parts, shame on me for suggesting anything else  :spankbutt:  :flamer:  :flamed:

Yes they do. I helped a freind with some of thier stuff before, it was a horrible expieince. They shipped out bolts with the Yukons he bought, and we almost had set the whole thing up, and when we went to torg the ring gear bolts down, they sheared off at around 50 lbs or torq. The instructions called for 75 lbs. We called them, and they basically said that we must have torqed them wrong. Funny, when we bought new ones that were grade 8, they held 75 no problem. Must have been our mistake. Stay away from Randy's.
