37x13.5x17 toyo mt's on 17x9 steel soft 8's
« on: Jan 25, 2006, 11:51:14 AM »
well im selling my tires, they are 37x13.5x17 toyo mts on steel 17x9 soft 8 wheels
they are mounted and balanced, rather well fopr a large tire actually
i paid 1982.00 for the tires a few months back, and i have put less than 2500 miles on them
they have 95% or better tread left, and have NO sidewall cut or even scrathches, these tires have been on about 5 miles of the fordyce trail, in the snow, and on some fire roads in washington, other than then pretty much road use only,
im selling because i am unhappy with the store i bought them at, and do not want to do buisness with them anylonger
LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR!! I LOVE THE TIRES, THJEY ARE THE BEST ONES IVE EVER RUN, I HAD PERSONAL PROBLEMS WITH THE STORE AND THE DISPUTE IS IN NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH THE TIRES!!
they are great, and i love em, but want them off my rig

again, i paid nearly 2000.00 for them, used em since early october (4 months)
i want 1600.00 or offer, preferably local pick up, but if you can figure out how to ship em i will on your dime :beerchug:

reason-as some of you may know, i have put in a lot of time as an employee of les schwabb tires, both in california and here in oregon. i got screwed royaly by the company and have left, i have moved on to work at big o tires, who does not sell toyo brand tires, and it would be unproffessional of a manager(myself) of a store to drive a product that he does not sell, so...im going to sell them, for dirt cheap might i add, and replace them with double beadlocks and bfg krawlers, soft compound :eyebrow:
so what this all equals, my loss your gain, from what i understand there is a 3 month waiting period for these tires so yall jump on em!!

So. how long did ya work for them?  I spendt (I wasted) seven years of my life with them and they f'd me right out the door and they were laughing all the way!  I would love to boycott the store in my town, but since it's the only tire dealer in a 65 mile radius, I guess they still get to screw me!   :moon:

Did LS get rid of the policy that you can't work for another tire dealership while there is a LS store in the area?  I remember signing something to that affect when I was hired.  I know they tried to sue a coworker that quit, moved to another town, and ended up with Big O.  So, he transfered to Arizona to get out of the lawsuit!

I'm glad I don't do that sh#t anymore, my knees, hips and lower back is all f'd up because of it!

Well good luck on selling them, and on you next venture!

They tried to get me to go into management, but after watching two asst manager's get divorced due to the long hrs, weeks, and late night crap!  I kept telling no way, I just want a job without all the managerial BS.  You know how they don't just want a worker, they want a career man that's willing to abuse their body and lives for the company!  Right after that they started to give me all the sh#t work!  I feel your pain!  Now I work at the cheese factory pushing the buttons on a panel to make cheese.  And think about how much better I feel, and how blatantly easy my job is!  And how crappy LS was.  I make about the same pay, without all the profit sharing, overtime, and customer bs!  Did you get any retirement yet?  I walked away with $31,000 just from seven years of service!  Good luck, again!

Oh, did ya ever get to meet Les himself?  I did, I had fresh cow shiat on my hands when I shook his!

I hear ya on the Uncle Les situation. Check out my ordeals. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=367207
I have meat him a few times, actually saw him last summer too, he aint doing so hot, been in the Hospital lately. Guess ol' Phil is up now! I have a set of Toyo MT's on my F350 now and love em' they are a bad ass tire. And for what I paid for my wheels and tires (37x13.50x18) this is a great deal. If I wasn't a die hard krawler fan I'd buy this setup.

Are these still up for sale? I might be interested in the wheels if they are. If you don't want to ship or if you don't want to seperate just tell me and I will understand. Or if they are no longer for sale please let me know. Thanks.
