Ok, Who's The Wise-Guy
« on: Jan 19, 2006, 03:04:11 PM »
This is way too funny for me to just let it go. I didn't know I was a MCBB star. I blotted out the site so there would be no issues (hopefully) most of you know what site this came from. I figure it is a joke and it is somebody I know but if it isn't, it's still funny. Thank's to CG for locking it. Still it's funny as hell. :rofl2:

I don't know where my name came up. Had to be some uninformed jokester, I may not buy there but I've never bashed them. I salute the admin for not letting it get going. If I remember correctly I was more in defense of said admin. for doing what he felt best for himself.

At first I thought it was funny since I was named but the more I've thought about it, and what the author is trying to do, I think it's just stupid.

That's just damn funny!  The only good thing I see on that site is the chance to win free stuff, nothing more.  Let em keep it for themselves, we have a great forum here that they cannot match!

The funniest part of that post is what CG said about keeping it clean.  As I remember, CG was really slinging the crap around in the last month or two before he left Marlin, between the whole All-pro stealing his pictures and the whole Marlin selling post.  I had heard that some of Marlin's customers wouldn't talk to him on the phone, they would request to talk to somebody else, cause he was such an ass!  He did help Marlin turn things around and increase sales, but from what I gather is Marlin & Co. is doing just fine since he decided to leave!  I have always said things happen for a reason!

Well this is somewhat why I decided this was a good example of some ass trying to start a flame war between the boards. Sure there were people that didn't like what happened and I would be one, but CG has moved on and so has MC and it should be left that way. I do have to admit that now that CG is not at MC anymore that it seems that AP doesn't even have an issue here, which is a good thing. If you look at the recent Hammer's thread JB and Marlin are standing next to each other trying to help get a rolled truck back running again. So maybe it will become a more amicable competitor situation with them now, and if TG does the same we all may benefit from that. Obviously whoever it is figured they'd get a response from me, but have no clue as to my position on this issue which is whatever happened is between them and not us. I applaud CG for squashing that thread and leaving it up for others to see and know he does not want to go there at all. We all should take that lead and leave it to them to deal with, it really is none of our business and as cruzila has been doing any jabs here should also be removed.

I'm still wondering why I got named? :headscratch:

I would assume either you pissed in some guys wheaties, or they did rock paper scissors on who they were going to flame?  :dunno:  I would just forget about it and move on, cause we got the best forum!  Only a chicken :pokinit: b*std would hide himself behind a internet board, just to flame somebody, at least JB had the balls to say who he was when he was posting, and didn't try to hide!  I would sit down and  and have a
