Strangely I like it.  Wonder how many people are gonna ask you if you got it from military surplus.

Nope just adding some more bracing so it doesn't collapse if someone rear-ends me :) It was welded on so it got a bit of green paint on it. I ended up cutting it off so I could fix some stuff and put a nice coat of paint  :gap:

I like it, I wish it was a little taller so it would match the top line of the cab. But other than that, no complaints

When I saw this thread I read your name on here was GeneralLee and figured, oh boy how originail, I'm gonna guess orange with a black "01" on the side, but I was pleasantly surprised. Do you wanna snap a pic of what you are doing under the bed for support. From what I understand instead of building a bumper you are building one on the inside of the body basically? I'm a little slow, but it looks trick.

The screen name actually came from an old BMX bike that I had when I was like 13 or 14. Just so happens that my truck matches it now! :)

I'm not sure what you mean by building a bumper inside the body. Are you talking about the front or rear?  :dunno:

Right now I think I have about 6 or 7" of lift. I do have an AAL in the back and 7" shackles. You might be able to get away with less but not much less, these springs weren't built for light Toyotas!

I was wondering if your front bumper and your rock sliders were custom built or did you buy them. If you bought them i would like to know from where. if they were custom fabricated then i guess i will keep looking.  P.S. Thats a sweet looking truck. job well done.
