He said he needs a tire good for mud and snow.
The mt/r's are good in the snow, but are basicly drag slicks in the mud.

I love the look of an mt/r, but living in WA, you have to have a mud tire.

I have been running the 35" toyos and they are an awesome tire, Around town in the ice they stick like glue, and are almost silent. HOWEVER if your looking for awesome mud/snow performance i would go with Interco. There is no other company that comes close, the TSL series rule in the Mud and Snow.

The Toyos are also extremely heavy. My 35"s weigh in at 85 lbs without rim.  A comparable Bias ply 38.5 Swamper weighs about the same!

I hear bad things about them so I am not considering buying them.

Thanks what I hear, that they suck in mud... and I need a tire that will perform in the mud too.

BFG is supposed to come out with their non-competition Krawler tires out, which I think will be bad azz!

They are a great looking tire, but I think they may still wear fast. I was offered a trade on a set of 35" Krawler radials, I never said yes because I don't know much about them.

Well, my SX's don't like to move to far in the snow... as a matter of fact, my truck is at my g/f's right now because I couldn't get it home (no front driveshaft) :maddest: So I have no truck.
The only thing I'm nervous of on the Toyo is that it only has a 3 ply sidewall.

Iroc's may clean out well... but I don't think they wear the best either.
No I haven't sold them yet.

Yea, I just think with the 17" rim they will be a lot more expencive... I priced a set of 37x14.5x15r and they were $1508 for the set.

The SX's are brand new, maybe 600-700km on them. Bad side is that I am in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
