Ok, I just added 40 database users that are being used to spread the load out by, well, 1/40th

But I am reattempting to build a Search Index (a new feature that supposably makes searching a whole lot quicker), and this is what caused the server to hit that max questions 50,000 limit an hour ago, so I hope it can get finished soon without causing any troubles

It is at 45.2% right now......

Well, about the Attachments, there is an option, which is already enabled, that says "Display image attachments as pictures under post"

I wonder why its not working. Maybe those files got deleted?

Mike, also hyperlinks are not underlined until you hover over them....

BTW, that search indexing is up to 56.32% now

Ok, now *some* of them are underlined, I need to find the code for the other links that are not underlined by default. So that is like one of your pet peeves I take it?

Can I get some opinions on this, I feel that the Hypertext links on the "Show unread posts since last visit." page should be a bit darker. It seems to light, everything on that page is just light and it looks too plain.

Anyone else feel this way?

All the links are that light-gray like page #'s options and the like. Kinda plain if you ask me.

I think Glen already fixed his, To get rid of the Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post. messages, simply go into your Profile and select the "Look and Layout Preferences" option. From there you will find a Check Box for "Don't warn on new replies made while posting." Just check is and save your settings.

RS: Can you give me a link to a thread that is not displaying it's attachments correctly? Everywhere I've looked has had working attachments.

The original theme was all blue, a more brighter blue than before, so all I did was just take all of the blue out and make more of a gray scale of course. I did that to match the www page but still have a light appearance. I am going to make the link text color a bit darker.....

PS. Search Indexing is at 73.6% now

Ok, a bit darker. It looks better to me. Also, the Search Index feature is done now, so I am gonna make some searches and see how it does

Also, if no one posted it yet. When the email reply to a thread you are subscribed to is opened, instead of a clear link to thread, there is a scrambled mess of code that used to be html.

edit. It seems to work okay now. It didn't before.

The two pictures in the opening post load just fine for me (and are for some reason not thumbnailed), but you linked to message #234296 which is Reply #25 by you, and it doesn't even show as any pictures to have been ever attached before.

That is a new feature that I actually like a lot. The forum is making thumbnails of each attachment instead of loading the picture full size. Then it is up to the member to click on it to automatically expand the image to its full size. I have control over the size restrictions (width/height) of the thumbnails, so I could make them a bit larger. I think it makes everything look cleaner

Huh, I don't get the images on that 1st thread unless I click the links.

I guess the thumbs are Ok, just a pita since even if I click on them I get that stupid window asking me where to open it. Does make it to where I can make my original image as large as I want and not screw up the thread with some monster image.

yup, I definately agree with you Mini. I'll get some better icons for sure.

RS: I am using FireFox and when I click on the thumbnails they just automatically fully resize without even reloading the window (thanks javasctipt). I have not tried it under MS IE.

If that is the case then I guess I can remove the thumbnail feature..

It may be because I'm at work and they have security set on high, I'll try it at home tomorrow and see if I get the same window. I also have Netscape at home and use that over IE anyways. Before you disable that feature see if anyone else has to open the links as a file.

Ok cool. Like that attachment that Mini just posted, if I click on it, then it gets larger, and if I click again it goes back to the thumbnail size. I can click on it really quick and it gets big-small-big-small-big-small-etc. really fast.

I just made it the same as normal messages. I never even look at the icons to begin with
