Ok this really ticks me off. When you are in a relationship and everything is going along great and then suddenly you get promotions in your job or get job offers as in doing a commercial or modeling and your signifigant other suddenly gets all freaky and then decideds that you need to "just be friends" for a while but yet still want you in his/her life because he/she needs to figure out what they want to do with their life! So...does this mean that you are suppose to just wait around until they figure their :pokinit: out or do you just say later and move on?

I have been dumped for being good at what I do?  :rivers:

you know what i mean though? you go outta your way to do something, like say your job, you go beyond what you are "supposed" to do, and not even a thank you. or simple things, like i have 10 items, someone behind me has 1, you let them go first.

Sorry to hear that Melinda :therethere: and No, you don't wait around till they figure out what they want. You tell them you will give them there space, if he figures out what he wants he can talk to you, but you can't go from a relationship to being friends. It doesn't work like that unless it is mutual and it doesn't sound mutual.
Sounds like he was too immature or insecure to handle you becoming succesful. it also could be he was looking for an out and this was just a good excuse. Either way you do not need someone that is not going to stand beside you in whatever you choose to do and allow you to grow. To grow together.
This sounds like an excellent opportunity for you. Just remember things happen, good or bad, for a reason, most likely there is something much more rewarding for you in your future.
