:yikes: Don't do it! Tell him you think it would be important for him to take some time and figure out what he wants. And tell him you realized it would be a good time for a break for both of you.
Even if you want things to work out, make him work for it a bit. Don't jump when he calls.
He's the one that dumped this on you in the first place.

Absolutely! He hasn't had time to "find himself". I'd suggest he take the Oprah on DVD up to a secluded cabin, spend some time on him (maybe a pedicure) and try to grow a pair! Having raised a daughter by my lonesome...it was painfully clear that girls are NOT the drama queens...it's the boys.

It ticks me off that all my friends are so tolerant of everything, I.E. gay marriage, immigrant rights, being original abortion blah blah blah but when they hear you believe in god they think its the dumbest thing ever and criticise it, I mean youre a truckin socialist and you love everyone but you're going to judge me for believing in a higher power.  It's really difficult to express your feelings for go being an 18 year old today but I dont care I will never deny my creator.

old people suck.  I was attempting to get gas today.  As i pulled up to the pump an older couple pulled up from the other direction.  The front of there car actually was next t othe pump i was going to.  I was thinking to myself "self, wtf are they doing.  The guy in the passenger seat gets out and pays at the pump.  I am still in my truck thinking they are idiots for taking up 2 spaces.  There was no room for me to get to my pump.  And the old lady was staring at me like i did something wrong.  I was about to go over and have a word with her but decied to keep my temper down.  then the pump wouldn't work.  I waited 5 minutes and they didn't get anywere.  I finally pulled up as close as i ould to there car, within inches.  Got out and stretched that gas hose as far as it could go and it barely reached the damn door.  You can say i was ticked off.

kneedownnate

That's one of my favorites!  One of my pet peeves is people who don't know how to pull up to the pump, or pull 8 feet away, blocking the entire lane, and just pump like everything's roses.  And it never seems to be a man, but I won't say what it usually is...........  and people who can't stay still when they're pumping gas.  You know em, the crank fiends who make 80 laps around their car while it's filling up, getting nothing accomplished except giving everybody a story to tell at home.

Maybe you could have helped him pump the gas instead? Then you'd not been ticked off so bad and helping is a great stress relief. I'm sure you knew the reason his pump was not operating properly. The thing I've learned about people once they reach a certain age is even though they used to do these things for some reason are not so easy anymore. Even though they seem aleart and vibrant sometimes they are just missing something and are a little less capable.

Sure I drive a *lightly* modded car, but that does not mean I street race.
Not saying I NEVER have, just saying, I haven't in about 4 months.

Automatic transmissions tick me off. Working on a 300ZX in school with an auto and it took us all day to get the tranny off with how it was wired, and now we have to find what made it leak so damn much. Probably the rear main but, who knows.

I had no clue why the pump didn't work actually i watched him pay the pump and press the button and nothing happened.  They had to get one of the attendants to help and still didn't get it working for a couple minutes after that.

True, it really does go both ways.  Thing is so many people jump too quickly into a full on relationship, give it too much, only to realize after they've invested their feelings into the relationship that the other person is a whack.  People are too into instant gratification, and this carries over to relationships as well.  Do you know anybody who still waits 3 months before sleeping with a new significant other?  You know, give it some time to see if you really wanna have in on your record that you slept with this fool?  I'd say 3 months should be enough time to see what somebody is like, or atleast enough time to know if they're going to flip flop on you.

Also, and girls are really bad at this, but if you push to steal somebody from another relationship then you have no ground to pregnant dog when they either cheat on you or leave you for another person, period.  No matter how bad I wanted to date a girl, if she were willing to end a relationship to be with me then I could never fully trust that she wouldn't do the same to me.  Then again, I don't really trust girls anyway, they're evil  .  I trust a girl way more if she admits that girls are evil, or admits to being very *friendly* personty.  Not that I like very *friendly* persons, but if they are open about it that probably means they'll be more honest with other things.

Well said Nate, I dont post very often but I have to agree with you on the admitting part.  Im in a relationship with a woman that has a bumper sticker that says 99% pregnant dog 1% angel and man is it true but I know it, she knows it and we get along great.  its the ones that claim to be angels that tick Me off

What tick's me off is!!

Not having a 4" lift!
Not having 35's!

This is kinda the opposite of me.  Ticks me off that I DO have a 4" marlin lift, high steer and 35s in storage, but don't have the time or place to install them, or the gears I need to run them.

And I can update being ticked off at some of the clowns at work.  We got rid of talky talkerson (the 24 hour chatbox) and the super shifty new guy who kept doing everything he was told not to, but nothing he was told to do.

What still ticks me off though is that we STILL have a problem with the same smokers bringing their cigarettes into our shop and break room, then saying they accidentally forgot, yet they always bolt for the door when they see me enter the shop, like I'm not going to smell it!  Frickin a holes I tells ya!  Like so many other days I almost walked off the job, left a note for my boss saying I will only come back if and when I'm guarenteed a smoke free work environment.  I know for a fact that when I complain to their managers about it they just tell em not to do it if I'm around, but this will be stopped this year, no matter what lengths I have to go to.

Phew, just had to air that one out
