79-85 4X4 Beater Needed
« on: Nov 01, 2005, 05:19:18 PM »
Need a 79-85 4x4 Pickup for a build.

Any condition, any mileage, motor blown, no smog, whatever.

Needs to be in CA, Northern CA would be great. Price is the main concern. Needs to be cheap.

Thanks

How's bout an 86?  Ifs steering is there for your high steer, just add axle and go.  Check my post in the rigs section and scroll down to my 86.

I have an 85 pu and a 86 runner. The pu needs body and the runner needs running gear but the two together would be a great combo. I have 5.29 detroit rear 5.29 lockright front. allpro rollcage, front bumper, x over steering, warn 9k winch, trail ready beadlocks, 33 14 boggers, revolers shackles, the two trucks just need a little tlc to get them running. the pu runs battery is dead but it will start.
