I need some pics of your best rear spring and shackle set up.

I need some pics of your best rear spring and shackle set up. I plan on going Chevy 1/2 ton or S10 or even F150 springs in the rear. I'm not to keen on the buggy leaf or the double shackle set up. I want it to pivot and work with the spring but be safe and reliable at the same tI'me. Ive got a few ideas what im going to do but if you guys have some better ones I'm open to anything.

PS pictures speak more than words in this Case so if you could post them up or link me to a site with good ones that would Sweet.

Uhh Im inboarded with broncoII's on this truck.  but I did  little writeup on my 84 when I put the same springs under the frame as they normally are.  Its called "Ive been busy" in the projects section.  There is also a bit of a writeup called "ShawnB's buildup" in the same section.

Thanks guys .........im more interested in the rear shackle set up.  Im tryin to get rid of the nasty twist the sold shackle give the spring when it flexes. What are the different shackle set ups you know of?

Run a johnny joint type shackle mount such as the style that allpoo sells.   That'll take care of much of the twisting effect.  The only real way around it otherwise is to run AOR orbit eye springs or take half of the shackle eye bushing out.  It worked great on ShawnB's truck.   (Still havent gotten the ne wbushing yet....  maybe someday it'll have them all.)
