Excited About MCR4?

Hey guys,

With only 12 days left, I have become super anxious about this event. I want to get out there so bad I can taste the granite in my teeth!

So I am just curious who else is as excited as I am? Whooo Hooooo!

Here at the shop, Marlin's Truck is coming along well, and everyone else is expected to make the event while TURBO (Tim) and WhiteGoat (John) are working hard and are not sure if their rigs will be ready or not.

But as for myself, I can not wait to get out of this city and meet all of you guys! I am definitely looking forward to it!

I'm devastated that I won't make it.      I just can't get the time off work, AND I can't afford the fuel costs to drive all the way to Cali....

BigMike i've gotta work til 7 on Friday so i probably wont leave my house til around 8 or 8:30 that night, its an 1hr and 30 min drive to Ice house for me.

What time you gonna be hitting Ice House Rd?  i'll try and meet you there if possible.

Hey man, that's great! I was planning on being near Ice House at about 8pm anyways!

But, I am not sure if TURBO and his rig will be ready, and I REALLY want him to take his truck, plus, if he does finish his rig in time, then his co-pilot Chris won't get out of school until 4pm, which is 1 hour later than the time I originally wanted to leave by. So if we can leave at, oh say 4:30p, then we won't make Ice House until around 9 - 9:30 or so...

But we will be jamming because I've got the 3RZ and TURBO has a Turbo 22R-TE, so we can make some great time in the hills-

We will take HWY99 to Jack Tone Road, then up to Scotts Road, then over to HWY50, then up to Ice House, and then into Loon.

I'll keep you updated with TURBO's progress. If we don't take his co-pilot, then we can be there at 8pm, if not sooner.

Not gona have everything done that I wanted, but this thing will never be done. That's what trail rigs are all about. Oh, BTW "12 days" maybe for you. We only have 5 to be outa here and on our way. Going to be some late nights till then.

Looking forward to meeting everybody and seeing how we do with the new toy.

Yup, same number. Just give me a call. I am about 6.5 hrs from the trail head, and I plan on wheeling in about 2 hours to Ellis Creek to camp. I think I will be at Loon between 9pm - 11pm and I will camp at the creek around 11p - 1a.

OK guys we are upping the food! We are now bringing meals for 600 people! So we should have food for everyone Saturday night! We are asking that if you have room please help us out and bring one bundle of firewood for the BBQ. We are going to need lots of firewood to cook up all the meet, so please bring a few sticks or a bundle of wood if you can. It will really help us out!

I'm excited to get back up to the 'Con, heck I'm excited to be on the trail period. It's been over 12 mos. since I bent the frame on my truck and I haven't wheeled or even ridden along since.   
I'm looking forward to some time off work (found out today my company is building the new and improved "Czajkowski Casa" ) and just relaxing and enjoying some time with some good people.

Not excited at all, could not care less.  Don't mean a thing to me. The con or home and a wedding, it's all just another day to me.

trucks and rock, why all the fuss?  I mean trucks crawling over big rocks, like you don't see that every day anyway.

Blue skys and fresh air, mountion lakes. Trees that reach for the sky, the smell of pine on the wind. A killer BBQ, and new friends to meet. why all the fuss? I don't get it.
