Hey, I have been reading around alot here, and just decied to make the jump.  Eveyone sounds really nice, not much flaming going on.  LOTS OF GOOD TECH!  anyway down to business!

I have been rebuilding a 79 yota pickup with my girlfriend, and am ALMOST done rebuilding the front axel, just waiting on rotors for the vented rotor swap.

My self, I own a jeep, and it has a forsale sign in it because i just bought a 85 yota!  :eyebrow:    It has a fried 22r, but as soon as the 79 is outa the shop, it goes under the knife!

ok, sorry didn't think about pics!  here is a pic of the 79 in the garage when we first got it back in june.

It didn't run because the started didn't engage, just spun.  We took the starter in and they said it was for a 22R!!! THE DUDE SOLD IT TO US FOR $200 BECAUSE IT DIDN'T RUN!! AND ALL IT NEEDED WAS A STARTER!!  runs good now.  As we started pulling it apart, we found manything wrong with it.  The floor boards have some rust holes, and the dash was in VERY bad shape.  We mounted some new seats, and my girlfriend (owner) pulled the dash apart.  The truck came with a spider gear replace ment type locker, and was open up front, so we deceied to get a used detroit LSD. While installing that, I found that the entire front axle needed new bearings, and in the prosses learned about birfs...  now the front is almost back togather, but we need rotors for the vented swap, and we have to rebuild the wheel cylinders.  I have no pics of mine as of right now, but will work on that!
