i really like my 35" krawlers, work good in any condition i have found.

How long have you had your krawlers?  I am thinking about buying them for my truck and it is a daily driver.  How many miles do you think you are going to get out of them?  Do they ride good on the street?

Their bias ply man so if your really worried about them giving you good miles I would recommend  you stick to different tires especially with the krawlers they are made softer than regular bias ply tires for traction on the rocks.... Softer=less tire life

I spied these on ebay.  They're pretty cheap and have an interesting tread pattern, lots of cut-ability.  Never heard of them but if ya never take a chance........

They don't give a brand, just say they are from a major tire manufacturer.  They sell tires from all different manufacturers so who knows.  Lemme see if I can snag a link to on of their auctions.  I don't have a groover but I think a friend said he knew a guy with one.  The biggest I remember seeing was a 33, I was kinda hopin for some 35s, and they're pretty cheap too.

Edit: I looked at a couple of their auctions and they call it something different in some of them.  They seem to be a laramie trailcutter mt.  Off to see if anybody in town sells em.

I would suggest the Goodyear MT/R's they were great in all conditions for me,  I live in Oregon and had them in the snow (Sweet tire)  I work with a guy that said that they do ok in the Mud also.  You will get good milage out of them and they preforme as well as look good on a toyota.  I sold the truck they were on, and I'm now running BFG M/T's they are good also, but they are a little louder on the road.  If I were to buy tires agian I would definently buy the Goodyear MT/R's  they are AWSOME that is my  :twocents:

I did not see any prices..the Maxxis site just lists available sizes.

right now on tirerack.com goodyear MT/R's in a 35X12.5 R15 are 182.00 each.  Americas tire co will price match them but they add 10 a tire for shipping.   So you could get the MT/R's for abut 192.00 each which is a good deal.  That is only $768 for 4 then you add about 40 for mount and balance.

What? Oh man I love 'em. I've got until next summer to decide what 37s to buy, and right now the Rockers' got my bid.. I want to see a set in person before I throw out some money on them though

I like how they look on the picture I posted of that red/gold Cruiser. I don't like how the other pics the tires a ballony. So Im sure that cruiser has some wide rim, and I didnt want to do that, I was going to go 9" wide with 13.5" wide tires, so I am sure it will ballon out...... I like how the MTRs stay square and look really crisp. These tires must work great off road, but I do like more onroad driving than off road because I never get a chance to wheel and I hate it. Hopefully that can change next summer :headshake:

How long do you think they will last on daily driving sense they are bisply?  They look shirt hot to me.  If they will last 30,000 miles I want a set.  Don't have the money to replace tires every two years.  I had a set of boggers on my Chevy and they didn't even last a year.

jafa knows the deaLY-O.......check out these links http://www.simex4x4.com/default.asp  http://whiteknight.ca/FORUMS/index.php?s=50fbc1cda84c563cb16c50a7abb7db98&showtopic=569&pid=18003&st=105&#entry18003  If I could afford them and find a way to get them shipped to the states this is the tyre I would run....these tyres are BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!!!  :drooling:   For now BFG M/T's....All of my buddies run them and we rarely have any probs....sidewalls are fairly strong....i have only had one hole in sidewall of A/T's...plugged it and dorve another 10,000 mi. In missouri we have a good combination of all conditions= mud, rocks, roots, some snow, plus i run on street most of time....no complaints.  The tread compund lasts a long time compared to others.  it took me a while to decide between the BFG's and Toyo Open Country MT's...I decided on the BFG's for size (toyos too wide 33x13.5),tread pattern (i like the more aggresive blocks on BFG's) and price. jus my  :twocents:   :beerchug:
