Hola!

Came over looking for info on Marlin's gears and stumbled onto this board.  Looks like a great resource for info and ideas for my '85 Toyota pickup.  Some really good looking outfits here!

I use my '85 to explore the backcountry and forgotten trails in the mountains and deserts of NW Wyoming.  I have a few friends that I go on monthly runs with (Corps of Discovery 4x4) and I make several solo excursions as well.  I'm more into expedition-type trips than rockcrawling, but I enjoy reading about all types of 4 wheeling.  It's all good as long as it's off road.

Other Toyota 4x4's in the driveway are my DD '97 T100 with a TRD supercharger and ARB locker, and wife's Mall Rated stock '99 4Runner.  Previous Yota 4x4's include an '84 xcab pickup, '88 FJ62 and '89 4Runner.  Longtime Toyota 4x4 enthusiast looking forward to reading, learning, contributing and oogling here on Marlin's board!
Everyone likes pics, right?   :beerchug:

Looks like you're having fun out there in that truck. I try to do some of that stuff with an atv strapping all our camping gear to the racks....its pretty fun and 99% of people in this world will never see some of those spots.

Thanks for the warm welcome and comments.  Wyoming is an amazing, but often overlooked state.  I'm hoping to let people see another side of Wyoming, through my trips and photos.  I take a lot of preparation notes & tips from the Aussie 4WD mags since the terrain is kind of similar.  Now if I could just come up with a diesel Troopie or Hilux... :drooling:

And there it is.  I'm all about seeing the scenery and learning the history of this area while discovering trails and hidden spots that the maps don't mention.  Hopefully some Marlin transfer case gears and maybe some new springs will be accompanying me on my trips in the future!
