Here's what mine looked like on 33x13.50 LTB's:

Cancer had spread on the bed so then a sawzall got happy with it and added 35's:

Then I threw the bed away and made a flatbed for it: :king:

That's what I'm doing once the 22RE conversion is done and rebuild the rear end.

That would be my Toyota dream truck, 'cept with one of those badass LC Engineering 22RE's.

Or a FJ45 with a RamJet! <----- (I know y'all are gonna hate me for going there! :talkingn: )

kyle_22r

here's a pic of my '79.  i love the '83 and older trucks, but i'm losing the war against rust and dents on the bed so it's going bye-bye and getting replaced with a flatbed pretty soon.  after i get this thing wheeling, i'm gonna look for a straight 4x4 or 2wd '79-83 shortbed.  never liked how the longbeds look on toyotas, but boy can they climb with the wheelbase!

A bobbed long bed looks cool, and so would at long bed with a flatbed and bobbed.

Forgive me for having the invisible front driveshaft in the last five photographs. I was still making it at that time. That's about it for now!

Nice it's got a snorkle. Which one did he use? The SS65HF safari snorkle for the 84-88 toyota truck?
