Has anybody put the first gen front clip (fenders, hood, grill) on a 3.4 tacoma?
I was thinking about it, or put my 1990 front clip on a tacoma.
It would seem to be alot easier than doing a 3.4, or 2.7 engine swap.

I am getting a new one in the next month or so, I am buying another 80 from a buddy, it is sitting in his driveway right now.

14.5" bob on the bed

I know man...I'm still over all that. She had potential. The one I am looking at is closer to stock and in MUCH better shape. It runs well and will run down the street. One think I should have noticed right away and stopped to think about. I found 6 colors under the blue on the bed, and only blue, white, and factory red on the cab/hood/doors.

Wow took like a 20 minute look at the 1st gen I was thinking about and walked away.
Rust all over the inside of the cab. Above the windsheild, the floor looks like they tried to fix the rust with fiberglass, it is straight brown on the floorboards (might be brown paint+rust or just rust), the body is really rusty, rust holes worse than mine, but at least the frame is straight. Now on with the search.

yea it was, good thing theres someone in here with a sense of hummor im pretty sure toyota desiegned my truck after the 80 model look at the lines and the grill well its closer thatn nething else i think. and toyotas are made in america to keep costs down. good luck finding somthing other that ferrari and lamborgini still made at its home

The only thing that makes these body styles look better is two tone paint!!! I love the way these two look!
