yep it's pretty cool, thats what i used for the marlin shop picture.
The only down side is that it's not really up to date, some place are from 2or3 years ago but I'm sure they'll do an update one day.

It's not this softwares fault. It depends on when your area opts for new satellite imaging. I think each area/district has to request it for whatever purposes. Most likely development.
The picture of our house is the same that I have seen on other sites. The last time our area did a satellite imaging was in 2002. You can see the trailer in the backyard and our first Ford F250 before the topper.

I've been playing with Google Earth for about a month now, you can start at one end of the US and have it fly all the way to the other coast and beyond. I bring it down to where it's at ground level and pull the screen. It will fly over the land and will hit any mountains then climb up then continue on.

IT's a trip for sure! Our plans now are to stop working, and win the lottery so we can travel the globe. I don't know why we didn't think of this sooner!

Is that what a dry lakebed looks like from a sattelite or did the man censor it all out? Looks like a cool system and I am currently downloading it!

No, that is just a dry lake bed, the only area that I have found that was blurred out is the capitol building in DC, the White House and the Pentagon are visible. Makes you wonder what is on top of the capitol building that they don't want you to see.

Man these are some old pictures. There are 2 junkyards shown in my town that have not been there for some time. One is now a Costco and the other is a fishing boat dealership.

Yeah they took the cars out of the junkyard probably 3 years ago and let it sit, they couldn't build for the longest time because the ground was so damn polluted. In the pictures there are still cars in the yard.
