Earth Hour - March 28, 2009

Anybody heard about this crap on tv or the radio?  In order to conserve energy, the greenies want everybody to turn off their lights and such for one hour on the 28th.  Call me crazy, but rather than have some feel good hour on one day, how bout everybody just be more conscious every day and make a real impact?  To me this is the equivelant of buying carbon credits so you can continue poluting on a large scale *cough* Al Gore *cough*

Yeah they did this last year too, if I remember correctly we started a turn on all your appliances thread to counter their stupidity with ours.
