I'm not sure about an extra cab, but I put an 87 standard cab on an 85 toy 4runner frame and all the body mounts lined up exept the back cab mounts.
88 Toyota truck ( Under Construction ) Dana 60's front and rear 5.38's, welded diffs, 3inch Downey rears up front, one link rear with aerostar coils rolling on 39.5x16.50/17 Pittbull Rockers and 17x9 Pro Comp extreme alloys.http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=40816.0

The front two mount's line up,the third you will have to move. Just carefully grind the old weld's off the third mount, move it where you want and weld it up.

You could do it in a day if you work the whole time.  The hardest part is getting the old cab off and the new one back on.  Then the rest is just wiring, it is time consuming.

yes i am sure the wiring will be the hardest part, what is the best way to do it, pull it all and re-wire or, leave as much as possible on the frame/engine? my plan is to just pull everything i can into the engine compartment and lay it on the motor, then pull the cab off, pressure wash everthing, and then put the new cab on and then put all the wires back into the spots, so far i have thought of brake lines, rear heater, heater, fuel lines, and wiring anthing else i need to remove? thanks
