As fer the front driveshaft... right now we're still brainstorming how to make it work.  So far what WILL work is using a 2wd trans and a divorced Tcase, that'll make the angle not so sharp... but that's a lot of work and money that I can't afford right now.. so I'm still :headscratch:

That was a good day at the junkyard. And a good day at Carnegie. Had fun both times....we gotta go again. Still lookin for a 2nd gen yota or the 1st gen runner. *hint to whoever checks back on this post*
1st gen yota truck. 37x12.5x15. 5spd dual cases, chevy springs in rear, toyota rears springs in front. Long bed....the list never ends..
Dont try to shift into 6th when u've only got a 5spd! Rubberside down doesnt always mean rite side up!

Oh yeah, the junkyard! I got a hardtop for the migo (now installed :woohoo: ) A trans to get it in 4wd with, and a bunch of other little goodies.... I can't wait to get this thing in 4wd :crossed:

Well, it WAS comin along till I did my taxes today :rivers: I'm not sure I'll be done by MCR5 now :tantrum: I got set back 3 months from today :down: I'll try to get the important stuff done (gettin 4wd workin, weldin the rear, gettin rear springs, and sliders.... and whatever else I'm forgettin :doh: )

The ford needs a motor and a front axle.  I think I'd rather put my money into the Migo and get it as trail ready as possible so that I can take er through.... The Ferd ain't happenin this year :down:

how is that to wheel? does it feel like its going to flop on you? maybe it just looks like it to me because its so short and not a truck.

ya i took the top off my 4runner on sat cuz the wheather was nice...big mistake it rained all sat night and most of easter. doh!

Naw it feels pretty nice.  I've only been able to wheel in 2 since the build, but it did pretty well under the circumstances.  I haven't had any near flops yet :crossed: but then again, I ain't hardly done anythin with it. We'll see once I get the 4 goin :yesnod:
