Have you ever actually read the Bible and compared it to historical fact?  Archealogists have found a ton of evidence that supports the Bible.

If you don't believe in a god, where did you come from and where did things begin?

I came from my mommies tummy.

BigMike,

This is off topic, but since it is my topic it is OK.  I have never told you that I met your sister briefly a few years ago in Walla Walla Washington when she was up for a visit.  My roommate and I followed her and Luke across town reflecting our headlights off of his side mirror at stoplightsmaking it difficult for him to talk.  I wasn't in the Marlin business at that time so I didn't know the connection until later or I would have requested a photo and autograph

Yes I do belive......I also belive that god created everything....and like posted earlier...we dont know what methods he used so the "speculations" might or might not be close to the truth....

My question is that if you dont belive in god....and that he created us.....what do you strive for in life....I mean that makes us just like animals they live die and thats it...but we are beings of higher sophistication....we can chose right or wrong that makes us different so I dont understand how some ppl belive that once you die....well....thats it :dunno:

I would suggest re-reading the Bible on the subject of hell.

Milton -  "Paradise Lost"  This one book has formed many peoples opinion of what the devil is.  This is a story about one man's perception of the devil.

Unfortunatly all you have is a bunch of books that say there is and at this point it would be your faith that an after life even exsists. That's why you pray that something else awaits you after death. As what was said earlier what is the point if nothing else awaits us other that life and death like an animal. This may just be the case, we don't know for sure that when we you are cold and dead that some sort of after-life will save our soul. This is totally based on faith, granted I hope it's waiting for us but if it isn't there oh well, I  am happy for the time I will have had..........
