my $.02  I run CroMo longs and until somone manages to break one or the other Ill keep running them.  Anyone that says that one is stronger than the other is an idiot.  Neither one have broken so how can you be so sure that one is stronger?
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Im not jumping your case gnob, Im just stating the my thoughts to try and avoid any arguments about which one is stronger. ;)

The ones that Marlin sells are made by CV unlimited.  They are supposed to be more refined and stronger but until one of them is broken Ill reserve my judgment.  :)

agreed, i think the consensus is that the birfs and inners are no longer the weak point.
you more or less answered what i was looking for as far as who was behind these.
as long as something else breaks first, who cares which of the chomos is stronger.

You are correct Mr kyle with the little welder...(can we get an update plsz), the bellfields aren't cromo, are they??
Newfields are CV unlimited, then there are the longs and the smurfields...

Hmmm, are there anymore that I missed?   :headscratch:

ahhh horse pucky,,a axle testing machine like what bobby has would get ya real close to telling the real story wich one is stronger..and why do you need a stronger one,,when other areas in the diff are alot weaker then the birfs and axles..
Forgiveness is between them and god..

If these are the newfields, then they were tested against the chromo longs. I don't believe either broke. Both broke the inners? Correct me if I'm wrong.
