I've gone through many phazes over the last 25 years and enjoy a little bit of everything.
I've seen many concerts that range from Roger Miller to Slayer. The last concert I attended was Metallica and Godsmack last year in Fresno which I passed out :boozer:   :headshake: The first concert was The Cars in 78. I hitch hiked from Pismo to Oxnard in 87 to catch a Testament concert and some dude bought my cousin and I a big bottle of Wild Turk for the show. It took a long time to get home. I tend to listen to the slower stuff a little more these days.

...is there any more of a tragedy to the blues then his death? Except maybe having almost lost Eric Clapton at the same time (or is that an urban legend?)!
I saw Eric Clapton with Pink Floyd.

Jackyl...The Lumberjack...nobody can play a chainsaw like they can!
I like it rockin'.

Eric Clapton wasn't in the plane, and my brother in law can do the chainsaw solo too!

It wasn't a plane, it was a helicopter and yes Clapton was suppose to be on it but his roadie lost his guitar and he never travels without it. I'm pretty sure he ended up taking a bus.

Well I work at a radio station in Forest City, NC.  Call letters WWOL, 780 AM.

We reach Rutherford, Henderson, McDowell, Caldwell, Burke, Catawba, Lincoln, Gaston, Polk, Cleveland, Yancey, and Buncombe counties in NC

And also Spartanburg, Greenville, and Cherokee countres in SC.

We play the old time gospel and southern gospel and bluegrass gospel.

As for other music I love Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Charlie Daniels, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and pretty much all BLUEGRASS

And I agree, there will be no :wall:

I would say they're the best band still making music today. It's progressive metal.

Never heard of them.

The reason I have so much respect for Dream Theater is that everyone in that band with the exception of the lead singer (who is still phenominal) has music education at either Berkley or Juliard. They're geniouses and still rock hard, tasty washerboard ab style.
