Turbo that sumpregnant dog! What are you thinking of using for a turbo? Gonna fab your own manifold? You could use a turbo off of a turbo eclipse/talon for cheap, a CT-26 off of a Supra for cheap, or go big and strap a TO4E on it :eyebrow: I'd guess you probably can't run much more than 10 psi on that engine anyway, so a CT-26 might be a decent choice...

Plans for intercooling?

Ryan

I know he's got a turbo off a nissan he plans on using, but I don't know the specifics. I'll sure he'll fill you in later

  :eyebrow:  I have a turbo from a 300ZX, but lack a manifold to mount it to. I am going to look for a Nissan forklift dealer and see if there is a possibility of getting a manifold for a forklift SD22-25. Otherwise I will build my own. I wounder if there will be any injection pump modifications needed?

There is also a TD27T engine (Nissan 2.7L turbo 4cyl diesel.) out there waiting for me to give it a good home, but I haven't found it yet.  :tantrum:
Seems they are comming out of Japan and there arn't many here in the states. There are plenty in Australia. ???

To date and it's not done yet either, 5 1/2 months. we only got 4 more till the Rubicon and we both need practice. Time to stop jaw jacking and spend some time in the garage.

We need to rename this "Sightings of the Willy Mammoth". We have run out two tanks of fuel in this thing and have done a rough est. on mileage. WE think it is like 20 MPG., But need to do a more acurate check. We went to what we call Sea World on Friday night. Saturday night we went to Ocala and today we went back to Sea World. We wound up pulling out five full sized trucks, some of them after others have tried and failed. There are too many pics to post so I will post the best ones.

We did not play as hard as we have in the past yet, but still have work to do first. We did try out every place we pulled a truck out of and found it to be no problem.

This full sized Ford couldn't pull this 2 wheel drive out, but the Mammoth came to the rescue.

You gotta love it when a 2500 lb willy pulls out a full sized truck at 4500+ lbs while being stuck to the axles. Even this Jeep couldn't pull it with the winch.

The only thing we broke all day was a strap that had seen too much action from our old mud truck.

Well that's it for now, it's back to to the build. :beerchug:

I love it! I only wish I could go duals. 4th gear is too low some times and I would like to use the stock low range.

I have got a load of compliments on the pulling power and I wouldn't be able to do it with out the gears.

My hat is off to Marlin.
