Topic: R154 5th gear thrust washer direction

Hello all
Looking for some help, assembling my R154 back together and can't seem to figure the direction of the 5th gear thrust washer on the countershaft. Does the tapered side of the washer go towards the intermediate plate, or go towards the 5th gear synchro? Please help
