Topic: Old-style Toyota transmission output coupler and seal replacement

 I have a 99 four runner that I have dual cases in. I am redoing my dual cases and noticed I have an old-style transmission output Coupler and oil seal.  Does anyone know what part number at my local auto parts that seal would be?

If the seal does not have a number on it call Marlin, like you were told over on Pirate!!

I have talked to Marlin.   And I was told it was old enough there was no one there at Marlin  Who would be able to tell me  that part number.   Seems like it would be super easy to look up what seal they sold in the past 10 years and tell me a part number l     That's why I  came on the forum to see if someone here might have some information.

Believe me, Marlin would if they asked him, but he is on vacation. I think Rocky would. When you call ask for CJ, he has been there a long time also and he should be able to find the answer.
