Topic: 20R Water Choke Hose Question

Good Morning.

I'm new to the Board and tried doing a Part# search for the short Upper Coolant Choke Hose, for the stock '80 Aisan Carburetor/setup. No luck.

Has anyone have it, or a comparable replacement # for it?

I have an old one you could use for reference and just go to the parts store and find something pre-formed with similar bends you can cut down to size. Actually it is probably good enough to just use but you can be the judge of that .  PM me your mailing address and I'll put it in a little box for you USPS.

Thank you much. That's what I'll do too.
The Choke inlet and outlet tube's O.D. measures 3/4". Shouldn't be too hard to match something up.

I don't recall it being very time consuming. So I suppose it wasnt too hard to find. I normally remember the hardest parts to find. Like the correct exhaust gaskets for a 22r... they list some in their computer system that aren't even close. Always have to get an older more experienced parts man to match it up out of a book...

What's time consuming is getting hung up on certain little steps to a bigger means. Like engine removal.





Being right next to the exhaust, this one saw a lot of heat and I had to chisel it outta there.
Details, details. Gonna use anti-seize on that one goin back in. Time consuming.
