It is a deceiving hill..

Yeah... videos and photos always seem lack some reality.  We have all seen videos and thought, "that's doesn't look that difficult!"

Muddy rocks and hill climbs are traction suckers.  Power to spin the tires is usually needed.  Airing way down does help a lot to wrap the tread.  With speed to maintain momentum, you can't help but get a bounce.

The best traction tire I ever ran on my Toy trucks is the original Yokahama Super Diggers.  Low profile and wide, very flexible, they worked extremely well air'd down to 4 lbs.  They had a soft compound, so not super on mileage.

Mine were 38.5x15x15
I loved them and if they still made them I would own a set right now.
I love them three times more than any other tire.

I lament the passing of so many of the old school tires.  We have a lot of great new treads, but I have not been as happy with any of the new stuff for various reasons.

The MTRw/Kevlar probably worked as well as some of my favorite old stuff but I don't like the look as well.

Getting supplies together for my next two projects.
#1 repaint rock sliders. The rocks have had there way with them. I like to make her look good.
Going to try brush on Rustoleum in semi gloss black.

#2 Diy rock lights. Ordered up 4 more KC cyclone Led lights. Picked up plenty of wire, loom, and rubber clamps.
Once lights get here I will start testing for best mounting and lighting locations.
I am extremely happy with the underhood light I installed and can't wait to see them under the truck at night.

Chris has more of a way with wrenches than he does with words. The former being much more useful if you ask me.

I have one of these.

Fun fact. That is a stolen design from Bad Land Bumpers here in WA. He had them make him a bumper and one of those and then turned around and ripped it off. That being said yes they are very useful.

That must have happened quite a while ago, I've had it for something like 10 years I think.  News to me for sure.
