hmm I'm going to have to look at mine closer but I dont'understand how you worked around the humps.  I like your idea I'll just see if I can do that to mine. I built a whole little seat frame with the factory mounts off the old seats.  I just don't really like how I turned out.

BTW is that aluminum.  If so you sure thats strong enough.  I always like to over build it possible especially when it comes to safety.

North Kirkland, few blocks from down town, next to the junior high. I'll be running at the end of Nov, just waiting on a new driveline.
